CUWCD Notice:
The Sanctuary of Salado application by Mr. Chad Stewart, representing the Hanks Family Trust, has formally withdrawn their permit for groundwater for landscaping specific areas within the development. The District concurs with their decision to withdraw their application seeing that the limits of the aquifer system under the development at the proposed production well was incapable of meeting the prescribed needs of their landscape. Mr. Stewart has stated that the Hanks Family Trust has agreed to source their water needs for landscape irrigation from Salado Water Supply Corporation. In accordance with their formal withdrawal of the application the District’s Presiding Officer Leland Gersbach has ordered the public hearing scheduled for a continuance on May 10th be been canceled.
