Notice of Public Hearing on District Rules
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors of the Clearwater Underground Water Conservation District (“District”) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 26th, 2026, at 1:30 PM at the Clearwater Boardroom located at 640 Kennedy Court, Belton, Texas 76513 to discuss, consider, receive public comment, and potentially act on proposed amendments to District Rules 1.1, 6 & 9. The proposed amendments to the District Rules include changes to the definitions section, 6.3 regarding tract size requirements for Exempt Wells, and 9.5 regarding spacing requirements. The District will also discuss, consider, receive public comment, and potentially act on adjusting its administrative fees.
All interested members of the public are invited to participate and comment orally and in writing. A copy of the proposed amendments to the District Rules may be requested by email at and may be reviewed or copied on the District’s website at https://cuwcd.org/.
