Notice is hereby given that the Board of Directors for the Clearwater Underground Water Conservation District will conduct a hearing on one Application for Permit as described below at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, Clearwater UWCD Board Room located at 640 Kennedy Court, Belton, Texas, in compliance with the Texas Open Meetings Act.

The existing well is completed to the Middle Trinity Aquifer (Hensell Layer), equipped with a maximum 1 ¼ -inch column pipe. The well is located in the Belton Lake Management Zone on 0.903-acre tract located at 2479 Fairview, Belton, TX 76513

This proposed amendment to their current operating permit will authorize an additional 0.23 acre-feet or 74,945 gallons per year of groundwater production for domestic use. The proposed annual quantity of the total permit is not to exceed 0.3 acre-feet or 97,755 gallons per year, at a maximum pumping rate of 7 gallons per minute.

The Application for Permit, if granted, would authorize the permit holder to operate wells within the Clearwater Underground Water Conservation District according to the terms and conditions set forth in the permit. A person wishing to submit a Contested Case Hearing Request under District Rule 6.10.15(d) who is unable to appear at the hearing on the date and time set forth above must file a motion for continuance with CUWCD demonstrating good cause for the inability to not appear.
