Evaluation of Edwards Aquifer Water Quality

A desktop investigation was performed by LBG-Guyton Associates to evaluate spatial and temporary changes of water quality in the Edwards Aquifer. Goals of the investigation included: 1) delineation of the brackish water line, 2) extent of migration of the brackish water line over time, and 3) determination of the potential impacts of pumping on the fluctuation of the brackish water line. This investigation focused primarily on total dissolved solids (TDS) as well as fluoride concentrations in groundwater from the Edwards Aquifer in Bell County, Texas.
