Modelo de gestión de aguas subterráneas de Clearwater
The Northern Trinity/Woodbine Groundwater Availability Model (NTWGAM) is a large regional model developed by Kelley and others (2014) to meet Joint Groundwater Planning (DFCs and MAGs) objectives of Groundwater Management Area (GMA) 8 members and Regional Water Planning requirements of the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB). It is not well suited for local assessments and requires significant time and resources to modify and use. Local groundwater demand in the I-35 growth corridor continues to increase and several pumping and aquifer storage and recovery projects have been proposed in and near Bell County. Robust evaluation of these projects demands tools that are well suited to their purpose and incorporate the latest understanding of the aquifer systems.
